Pepper (Kuskokwim Jalapeña T.D.) was Hatch's search partner with WOOF and CARDA, a four-legged lady tough enough to let her handler know – in the matter of scenting lost people – she knew better than he did. She was with him in Mexico City, searching for survivors after the 1985 earthquake.
