Sardy (Kuskokwim Firebird C.D.) was chosen for SAR from our homebred litter by Ch UDT Tucker Hill's Oracle out of Bee-Jay's Sandy C.D. Sardy was a trooper, trained to find human scent in town and wilderness, under snow, water, and disaster rubble. She was my partner searching for survivors in the 1985 Mexico City earthquake. She'd work for anyone who knew the right commands. When she made a live find, she'd report in with a pirouette and a joyous WOO-WOO!
